Characterization and Validation of a Rectangular Three-Phase Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer System with Low Output-Power Ripple

Abstract:

This paper details the characterization of the model
of a rectangular three-phase transmitter-receiver topology with
low output-power ripple for use in dynamic wireless power
transfer (DWPT) systems. The modeling and characterization
is validated through the testing of a prototype DWPT system
designed for heavy-duty vehicles and demonstrated at 50-kW
operation.
