The North American Council for Freight Efficiency (NACFE) is an unbiased non-profit organization focused on helping commercial truck fleets adopt technologies for fuel efficiency and sustainability. In this follow up from his March 10 preview presentation, Dave Schaller, NACFE Industry Engagement Director, discussed results of NACFE’s 2021 Run On Less – Electric demonstration in which 13 different BEV trucks were used by real world fleets hauling real world freight. The presentation included applications where electric trucks work now and indications of where the future holds great promise as well as challenges to overcome for expansion.
