Advancing Transportation Equity and Environmental Justice

ASPIRE’s vision is to advance a sustainable and equitable future for transportation through widespread vehicle electrification. This presentation described some of the existing disparities in transportation access and exposure to traffic and traffic-related air pollution that have resulted from discriminatory practices. The presentation discussed principles of environmental justice that can help guide the vehicle electrification transition.
