Researchers Experience Great Success at the IEEE ECCC 2024 Event
We are excited to announce the success of our Researchers at the IEEE ECCC 2024 event. Congratulations to the faculty, staff, students, and alumni who were awarded for their innovative contributions towards improving technologies in Energy and Transporation.
We’d like to recognize Marium Rasheed, Craig Simpson, Hongjie Wang, and Regan Zane for their publication, “Multi-mode Control of the Energy Transfer Unit in Capacitively-coupled Hybrid Battery Packs for Enhanced Auxiliary DC Bus Regulation”, which was awarded the 2024 IEEE IAS Transporation Systems Committe (TSC) Second Prize Paper Award.
For being awarded the Best Presentation Award from the ECCE Women in Engineering (WIE) Committee, we’d like to celebrate Shubhangi Gurudiwan, Aditya Zade, Hongjie Wang, and Regan Zane. Their award-winning presentation is entitled “Nonlinear Capacitance-based Accurate ZVS Analysis for Full-Bridge T-Type-based Resonant Converters”.
Success with ASPIRE doesn’t stop with graduation. We also celebrate the success of Marium Rasheed for her thesis, “Architectural Design of Hybrid Battery Energy Storage Systems with Integrated Active Balancing and Reconditioning Control”. With her presentation, she was named one of five 2024 IEEE PELS Ph. D. Thesis Talk (P3 Talk) Winners.
We couldn’t be prouder of our team’s success!
ASPIRE Now Boasts 2 IEEE Fellows!
