Abstract:

This was a brief introduction of ASPIRE to two of six communities in Salt Lake’s Westside / Inland Port area. The purpose was to explain ASPIRE’s mission and vision, express our fundamental wish to engage collaboratively with Westside communities rather than work unilaterally upon them, and request their input as to community leaders they endorse to represent them on ASPIRE’s pending Community Advisory Board.

"Shout-outs"/Achievements

Reception to ASPIRE was strong, even as UIPA was discussed less warmly. Questions following my presentation had to be cut off for time. ASPIRE was invited to host an information table at the community’s upcoming Night Out (Aug. 2).
