Amy Wilson-Lopez

Biography

Dr. Amy Wilson-Lopez is an Associate Professor at Utah State University. Through her research and community engagement activities, she partners with youth and educators to use engineering to solve problems in their local communities. A former middle school reading teacher, she studies the literacy practices that linguistically diverse youth use to design solutions. Her work, which has been funded by multiple federal grants, has appeared in top engineering, literacy, and science educational research journals.
