Peter Turner

Biography

Peter Turner gained his PhD in Gravitational Radiation Physics at the University of Western Australia. He worked as a technical product manager for a solar window film and automotive aftermarket franchisor in Australia. After moving to the USA in 2001 he has worked for three R&D companies in the general area of drugs, explosives, and underground water detection technologies, with brief forays into advanced electroencephalogram sensors for brain-computer interfaces, and satellite instrumentation testing. He joined Hyster-Yale in 2019, with responsibilities for power electronics and control systems for the fuel cell engines group, and the increasing electrification of Hyster-Yale’s core business, the manufacture of lift trucks.
