Biography
Dr. Srishti Banerji is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Director of Systems, Materials, and Structural Health (SMASH) Lab at Utah State University. She is a faculty researcher at the NSF sponsored ASPIRE engineering research center where her team works on enhancing the constructability, durability, and structural performance of concrete pavements with embedded charging systems. In addition to studying electric charging systems in concrete pavements, her research focuses on the performance of advanced construction materials, development of sustainable construction materials, behavior of structural members under extreme loadings, and strengthening of civil infrastructure. Dr. Banerji is a member of ASCE/SEI Fire Protection Committee and several ACI committees.
