Utah State University
Conner is a concurrent master’s student in the electrical engineering program at Utah State University. He discovered his passion for renewable energy and transportation electrification while working at the ASPIRE engineering research center. While working at ASPIRE, Conner has helped design and build both wireless and plug in electric vehicle chargers. Conner’s team won first place in the 2022 IEEE International Future Energy Challenge by building a 1kW smart solar microgrid inverter. His current research focus is improving the thermal management of embedded electric vehicle wireless charging systems. Conner is eager to help develop a smarter power grid and transition to cleaner energy solutions. He will graduate with a master’s degree in electrical engineering in August 2024.
