Biography
Bruno Cesar Krause Moras is a Ph.D. student at the Lyles School of Civil Engineering at Purdue University supervised by Prof. Gkritza. Originally from Curitiba, Brazil, he obtained his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at the Federal University of Technology - Parana, Brazil, where he was awarded the Academic Honors Diploma and the master’s degree at the Polytechnic Institute of Braganca, Portugal. Currently, he is elected Event Coordinator at the Purdue ITE chapter and mentor of a sophomore student in her first research work. Last October he won the Best Presentation Award at the BRASA Summit, the biggest conference for Brazilian students in North America, presenting the research about the adoption of electric vehicles in Indiana and showing the Brazilian community some of the outcomes that ASPIRE has been providing in the transportation field. Aside from his engineering studies, Bruno enjoys playing soccer (in his Excel sheet he has more than 2700 goals registered) and watching movies.
