Electrical Engineer III

The Electrical Engineer III will lead the design, analysis, and validation of advanced high-power, high-voltage power electronics systems. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field and 4–7+ years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in PCB design for AC/DC and DC/DC converters, hands-on laboratory validation of systems above 20 kW and 1,000 V, and deep experience applying modern power electronics devices and converter topologies.

  • Ownership of electrical design and analysis from concept through validation
  • Schematic and layout review, PCB bring-up, troubleshooting, and system-level validation
  • Advanced simulation and modeling using MATLAB/Simulink, LTSpice, PLECS, and ANSYS
  • Integration of power electronics systems with embedded controls and mechanical subsystems
  • Application of wide-bandgap devices (SiC, GaN), gate drives, magnetics, and EMI/EMC design considerations
