Biography
Steve Petruzza joined the computer science department of Utah State University as a new faculty in 2020. His research activity started in the defense industry working on network centric multi-sensor data analysis and General Purpose computing on GPUs. During his PhD, Steve joined the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute at the University of Utah and continued his research in high performance computing (HPC) and data analytics as a research scholar and later as a post-doctoral fellow and research scientist. He has published work in top HPC and visualization venues and teaches courses in high performance computing, scientific visualization and cloud computing.
