| Abstract: | The USU ASA had a table at the USU College Of Engineering’s annual Community Night. We brought our usual STEM fair activities that teach about electricity and magnetism. These activities are geared towards younger children, but can easily be engaging for middle school students, high school students, and adults. One of the ASPIRE Computer Science students ran a flight simulator the kids were able to play with. In addition, we brought various flyers and other ASPIRE-specific materials to hand out. Approximately 95 children, 40 adults with children, and 5 adults without children stopped by our table. The majority of the children were between about 3 and 12 years old, although some older children stopped by the USU ASA table as well. |
